So today me and a group of friends were going to a dinner at another friend’s place and we had to take the train because its half an hour from Edinburgh.
We had to wait for someone so we split the group, half left and the other waited for her. The host told us that we don’t have to wait for the other train in half hour, instead take another train to a nearby village and then they will pick us up, it won’t matter because the cost is the same and the ticket guy wont mind.
I wasn’t liking it very much , so the girls ( the 4 left were me and 3 lovely girls) told me oh just sit when the ticket guy comes in, don’t say anything and we will use our female charm to fix everything.
We sat down, I couldn’t sit next to them (no space), so I sat on the other side of the aisle.
Just 5 mins before we arrive at our destination the guy came in asking for tickets, the row in front of me didn’t have any and bought them on the fly, while he was fixing them the tickets, I flashed him my ticket and he said okay.But when he reached the girls, the charm didn’t work, he made them pay 80p each which is like $1.10 or something, it was hilarious , I was looking at the girls behind the guy’s shoulder and grinning!

So yesterday at like 2 am sleepless sitting in bed, decided to turn on the TV.While I was flipping between channels I landed on the E! channel which had a show about celebrities in swimsuit. What can I say… I just love bikinis .
I continued watching, and to please the female audience they had to show some males in swimsuits, so one of them was Jake Gyllenhaal and as an introduction they listed a few things he did and one of them “spooning with Heath Ledger”, which was translated in the Arabic subtitles as “tanawala el ta3am ma3a Heath Ledger” (he had food with Heath Ledger)…

Lovely Wedding

So I am in Lebanon, came earlier than usual just to attend one of my closest friend’s weddings, and I did not regret it at all.
It’s the best wedding I attended, Spanish theme, Spanish music, and fun fun couple. For once I loved going to a wedding, it was different, refreshing, extremely well designed and nontraditional.
Weddings in Lebanon lately were all about who can spend the most money, and who can have a bigger version of the same traditional style: dabke, same music, same make up, similar dresses, similar flowers arrangement, similar traditions…BORING!!!!
Weddings are a thing if done right, only done once 
so why on earth would you want something different than your personality? why would you want to do the same things that everybody else has done?
Kudos to Racha and Karim, hope they have a long happy life together

Black Heaven

So been watching a short 13 episodes anime series called Black Heaven, and I just love it.
It is not your typical anime where its all about goofiness, super powers, flying stuff or what ever. Actually the subject is a very deep subject about reality that crushes dreams, how life becomes more mundane, hitting the routines while your mind still trying to live in the dream.
Of course it has anime features like damn sexy aliens, but that’s not the points, they are like a metaphor and they just help the plot.
If you are a teen, you won’t enjoy this, if you are in your early 20s you won’t enjoy this, but if you like rock, guitars, and you are over 26/27 you will appreciate this anime alot.
I give it a 5 stars.

So was in the mood for mashed potatoes, but really hating peeling the potatoes.My urge for food was bigger than my Laziness, so I peeled a few, cut them into small pieces, put them in the food processor, added the oil, and started it.

So they asked their computer to create a destructive, agressive, stupid species that can be implemented on earth and its sole job is to destroy that planet , change the atmosphere from Oxygen saturated to a hot, Carbon and Sulphur saturated, microwaved surface. So the Human species is born.
Our creators are pretty impressed, we are doing an excellent job and surpassing their expecations, they might move in a 100 years or so.

There are alot of Lebanese websites that I visit daily to get my compulsary updates of Lebanon. I visit several sites from opposing political points of views, just to see what each side has to say, then I try to take what’s common, most probably true, and what is different, which means it needs further looking up into; check inconsistency , holes, and previous news to see if its continuous or fishy.
One thing is common to all Lebanese media sites: visually, THEY SUCK.
They have great graphic designers, but very very very bad web designers and publishers. On most sites you see amazing pictures, banners, logos and what not; but regarding the total design, its crap, its cluttered, its full of advertisements that have nothing to do with what I am reading(meet muslim women from Lebanon as an example while reading some sinister news), flashing pictures, endless pages where I have to scroll down to reach the end, several columns, impossible navigation, and totally crap experience generally.
Its like a metaphor of Lebanon, if you focus on a few parts they are amazing, but as a whole its total crap, nothing works as it should, too chaotic, too flashy, too money oriented.
Bleh…
