Server going down

The server that I am hosting this on, is having having hardware trouble. I might move it to my server, but that will have some downtime to move the domain name.
Or just ride with it, until the server ’s hard disk is changed, and it will also have some downtime. Anyway everything is getting backed up on my server.

Cleaning up the blog

I am going to do some cleanups on this blog, basically regarding categories and tags.
Its going to take time, so classifications might be messed up for a few days while I finish it.

Steps to get a job

1)Find a nice job advert that suits most of your skills.

2)Send your CV with a very enthusiastic cover letter.

3)wait for first filtering from recruitment agency.

4)get informal phone interview, if successfull, your CV would be sent to the company

5)wait for second filtering from company.

6)get request from company for interview

7)go to interview

8)sit for an hour to two hours test

9)get nerves breaking interview in front of 6 to 7 people , all in suits with tons of experience.(all frowning)

10)finish the interview, not knowing if you did good or bad.

11)wait for the result.

12)if lucky, very very lucky, you get a job with the minimum salary in the range.

13) you get a 3 to 6 months probation where you have to work harder than anyone else just to prove yourself.

14)you realise the salary is not enough, you start buying things on credit.

15) you work extra hours so you pay back the credit.

Adventurous Tongue

So I was talking with this girl about my tongue, because she saw how big it is and I have this habit to end a lot of phrases with a “:P” when making a joke.
So I was like yeah I am proud of my tongue, its my joy and pride…she corrected it by saying “Pride and Joy”…
so I was yeah yeah and i started saying some famous quotes but tonguating them .
like: “Going boldly where no tongue has gone before” (startrek)
and when I reached: “Its a small lick for (a) tongue, a giant lick for tongue kind”.
She was like: “To the moon?”
My answer was: “Moons are nice, but they have to be clean…”

Weird Dream

One of the weirdest dreams that I had so far, the entire dream is a bit incoherent because I don’t remember every detail anyway here it goes.
For some reason I was in a parking in Edinburgh inside my (sold) mercedes, same mercedes not opposite sides, but the roads were like in the UK. I was trying to drive and for some reason I always ended up driving on the wrong side of the road(right side for us) and I almost hit other cars so I return to the parking, then I talk to this old woman a bit and I tell her why i can’t drive correctly, then I decide to try again and this time I go on the right side of the road, i feel weird because everything is inverted, and seems the parking was next to AUST ( the edinburgh branch…go figure) and it was even on a curved road exactly like AUST Lebanon, but the difference is that instead of hotel dieu and some bridges I could see a long road between rocky moutains, and while driving rocks were falling from the moutains and I was trying to evade them at the same time trying to evade the traffic because everything is inverse, and I reached a place where the road was completely blocked by fallen rocks so I had to go offroad and drive over huge rocks with my mercedes, which btw before you say its impossible… I have done that in real life (mercedes 300E 1990 is a tank )..
And then the dream ended, maybe…or I just forgot the rest…bleh.
and no its no april fool..

Lebanon in May

I am going to Lebanon between the 19th to the 31st of may.
not 100% sure but its very probable.

Finished Uni

Yesterday I finished my final assignments, I do not have any more courses to attend so basically I will never attend any courses ever again, all I have are finals and my thesis .
So you can expect me to start updating all my blogs again .
I had a damn tough 2 months .

Profile Pictures

Whether its for msn messenger, yahoo messenger, google talk, myspace, facebook for any web application that has a profile pic , people are just funny.
Men usually strike either funny poses, pictures doing something interesting, or for some reason angry poses.
As for women generally you have two kind of women.
1)women who think themselves beautiful, which is mirrored by all the model like poses while making suggestive hot curves with their bodies and pouting their lips.
2)women who think they’re ugly, and what they do post are pictures which makes them really ugly (even if they weren’t ugly in reality), pictures that do not relate to them but somehow describes how they perceive themselves, and the worse pictures kind of all posting a pic of them with a very hot girl to attract guys just enough to reveal their “secret”…

I am usually posting pics of myself in the funny poses category, most of the time with my tongue dangling out of my mouth. Did I ever say that I am damn proud of that tongue ?

Evolution…

Species evolve by nature selection; that’s what makes species adapt and change to their environment, the individuals with the best characteristics to their surroundings survive and breed, the others just die, eliminating in the process unwanted and weakness in the specie itself.

Humans don’t do that, everyone breeds, people with permanent sickness, short sighted people, people who have a higher potential of cancer, etc. etc.
The only reason that they still breed is our humanity, and our love to help others.
Imagine that we aren’t human, a lot of genetic diseases would be phased out.
Let me take the example of myopia, I used to have myopia before my surgery (I still have traces), like 100,000 years ago I wouldn’t survive in the wild, I would be eaten by some saber tooth simply because I cannot see it coming .
For some reason myopia is still here, probably because some 100,000 years ago they found some useful work for people with myopia instead of letting starve to death…
which is good on a humane level, and probably people with myopia instead of hunting were left thinking in some corner and invented some nice stuff, but on the genetic level…what a disaster…
I think we discovered the fire too soon .

Problems leading to good things…

I have a problem, I can never do something unless really challenged: I was like that since school, on hard classes I would ace them, easy classes barely pass…
Now I am having the same problem with working out, its boring me.
So…my French athlete flatmate gave me a good challenge. a Triathlon in 6 months…
so…Guess who is doing a triathlon in 6 months? (hint: you are reading his blog now).
It’s gonna need a lot of training since I can barely run for 10 mins, I have good physical strength but no stamina at all.
Oh well …that will soon be changed

The Legend of 1900

I love that movie, I have seen it so many times, and I still can see much more times still.
unfortunately, it always make me cry at the end…
but its a damn good movie.

Blood Moon

some hour ago, the total lunar eclipse was over, and for the people who missed it don’t worry there is another one in august…
What you see in fact, is a red moon, a moon stained in blood…which has a lot of myths around it, specially myths regarding vampires.
Me and a friend went up a hill called balckford hill just to have a better view, a bit far from urban light, I expected to see some kids wearing as vampires, the weirdest I didn’t see any.
When we reached the hill and we started climbing, we saw a lot of people watching the bloody moon, and when I turned around, I was shocked by what I saw, here she was, an oldish woman(40ish), wearing like a vampire. Her face was painted in white, with heavy black maskara and black gothic looking clothes…
umm… woman… GROW UP…
